This spacious 2-bedroom and 1-bathroom house gives guests an opportunity to experience the history and culture of São Miguel. Throughout the house you are invited to experience art and hand made crafts created by local artisans. This House features a traditional clay tile roof and chimney as well as lots of windows to bring in plenty of natural light. 

Outdoor amenities such as the barbecue and dining space complete with outdoor table and lounge chairs are operational year-round, providing you the opportunity to fully enjoy the outdoor space. 

 The  kitchen is equipped with all the modern amenities you will need: refrigerator, freezer, cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and a complete set of cookware for preparing delicious meals at home. The kitchen also features handmade cabinets with locally sourced cryptomeria wood, and a breakfast bar complete with three stools to comfortably enjoy a meal or snack.  

 On the wall hand-woven baskets draw your eye up to the high celling and sky light as well as complement the feeling of culture and tradition in this home.

 The open concept continues into the lounge area which includes a sitting area with comfortable sofa sleeper for relaxing and watching satellite TV. Experience some of the island’s rich history through sketches of historical local landmarks. 

This bright and spacious area is the heart of this house with plenty of space to spend quality time or just relax at the end of a busy day of adventures.
